There's a particular kind of quiet that settles over a room right before the lights change. Last week, that quiet opened onto Liquid Domain - AEDEN's presentation of its SS27 collection, staged as an immersive installation rather than a straightforward showcase.The room borrowed its logic from the sea. Reflections moved across the walls in slow ripples, the kind of motion that tricks the eye into believing the room itself is submerged. Models moved through the space as though suspended underwater - unhurried, weightless, caught mid-drift within the installation.Nothing about the effect sat on top of the clothes. It came from the same instinct that shaped the collection itself: garments built to move, to catch light differently depending on the angle, to feel loose and unfixed rather than rigid.
